Ian Wallin

Psilo Sangha founder, Ian Wallin, is dedicated to fostering holistic healing and personal growth through sacred prayer ceremonies and meditation practices. His spiritual journey began with a near-death experience in 1995 that led him to question his purpose, setting him on a path of healing and self-discovery.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, Ian lived with the Red Streak Clan of the Diné Nation, learning the value of spiritual community through traditional ceremonies and culture. He deepened his practices through Vipassana meditation, Inipi, Kriya yoga, and mystical experiences with psilocybin.

Ian’s dedication to integrity, authenticity, and compassion has positioned Psilo Sangha as a leading organization in holistic healing. He has built a dedicated team united by core spiritual values and a shared mission. His vision is to support healthy community, working with sacred medicines and mindfulness practices. Ian believes in the power of vulnerability, compassion, and courageous self-exploration, offering resources to help others connect with the divine, finding peace and liberation from suffering. Co-founder/Facilitator/Secretary

Dani Thomas

Dani Thomas is a queer, able-bodied, white, Western-educated, non-binary transman parent living in the Rogue Valley since 2013. Trained as an osteopathic physician, Dani worked locally as a critical care doctor, primarily caring for patients on life support. Over a decade ago, Dani realized many patients' organ failures stemmed from social dis-ease. Recognizing the limitations of the traditional biomedical industrial complex, Dani saw true healing from bedside interpersonal interactions rather than medications.

In 2016, Dani began a personal growth journey, starting with healthy eating and meditation. At 38, Dani acknowledged their truth as a non-binary transman, a profoundly spiritual experience that opened perspectives beyond materialism and physicalism. Dani studied the intersection of science and spirituality, developing a worldview filled with compassion, forgiveness, love, dignity, and interconnectedness.

Trained as a psilocybin facilitator, Dani remains in awe of the sacred mushroom’s ability to connect to divine intelligence. Believing healing is within each individual and the present moment is paramount, Dani embraces the honor and privilege of working with this sacrament. Dani holds that divine experiences from mushroom ceremonies are among the most sacred spiritual practices. Everything is interconnected, and all is welcome.

At Psilo Sangha, Dani is responsible for reviewing and revising documents and serves as the secretary. Dani’s work is guided by inclusivity, compassion, and belief in the transformative power of sacred medicines and practices.
